My approach to your day…
MOMENTS
Most of a wedding day consists of moments…getting ready, the ceremony until the reception. I will not ask you to fake smiles or act out certain emotions. When moments are happening, I won’t be adjusting your dress, or your hair or telling you to look a certain way. I think you’re perfect just how you are and you deserve to be in the moment.
YOU AND YOUR LOVER
When it comes to couple portraits, we could have anywhere from 15 minutes on your wedding day to two hours for an elopement in the woods. I’ll guide you to be present by finding sensory experiences, like how your partner’s hands feel in yours or how it feels to take deep breaths together. It can be easy to get stuck in your head and feel like you have to have it all together. I don’t expect you to be a specific way, but just as yourselves.
YOUR PEOPLE
In addition to capturing your unique love and the experience of your day, I also enjoy documenting the people you invite to celebrate with you.
If you have a wedding party (traditionally called bridesmaids/groomsmen), I like to keep it simple and quick. Instead of spending hours doing different poses, we’ll get the essential smiling at the camera picture, do another pose or two, then let everybody go hang, so that you all can spend quality time with each other. Then I will focus on candids throughout the day of your wedding party people - I know they’re important to you!
Investment
Wedding pricing starts at $5,500 which includes all day coverage & an album. Portraits start at $750. Micro-wedding/elopement pricing falls in-between wedding & portrait prices.
