Laid-back, intimate backyard wedding in Louisville

Last November, Drew and Sean had the most lovely little ceremony in their backyard right here in Louisville. They really glammed up their backyard and between the lighting, florals and autumn colors... it made for a beautiful setting.

Though everything was stunning, my personal favorite thing was how happy their families were as they came together to celebrate the couple. All the nieces and nephews were adorable! You can just feel the adoration through the photos.

For photos, I made sure to capture all the hard word they put into the decorations since everything with DIY. The couple wanted a few photos together, so we took 15 mins and walked around their neighborhood taking photos, but what was most important to them was getting candids of everybody there, so that’s what I focused on. We took a few posed family portraits right after the cereony since those are important as well, but we breezed through them becasue I knew everybody just wanted to spend time together, eat and dance.

Sean and Drew are some of the kindest, down to earth people and it was a big honor for me to photograph their wedding! Enjoy the photos.
