OWNER & PHOTOGRAPHER - Kendra Farris she/her

Being a good photographer to me means being immersed in the art of noticing. Being present can be really hard when life is so chaotic. And I've learned how precious it is to really be in the moment.

From the age of about seven, I always had a camera with me and would steal my mom’s camera as a kid. Sometimes I would force one of my younger siblings to model for me. I have 7 so it wasn’t too hard. But I really began to fall in love with photography when I started take photos of normal, everyday life.

I got lucky enough to start 2nd shooting weddings at age 15! I photographed my first wedding solo at age 18 & have been hooked with photographing wedding and all the life in-between.

When you hire me to take your photographs I'm not simply a warm body taking up space, I'm the person deeply entrusted that will be there long after you get the finished gallery.

Behind the Scenes

I’m lucky enough to get to work with my partner and husband Trent, who is a photographer as well as a videographer and owner of Document Wedding Films. Below is a slide show of us working together through the years, holding bouquets and probably petting cats.
