Bright & Fun In-Home Session in the Highlands, Louisville Kentucky

Two summers ago, I took Johanna and Marcello’s photos in their bright and cheery home here in the Highlands, Louisville. We had so much fun — from jumping on the bed to running around the yard with their pups, Luna and Osito. Dogs make sessions so fun and lively! A photoshoot at home is the perfect way to include them, too, because they’re already comfortable there and their personalities can really unfold. Can’t forget the cats either - Buttercup and Peaches - they each had to have their photo taken, too (though I had to be a bit sneakier). Cats are definitely a lot easier to photograph at home lol!

She’s an incredible person and has been a great friend. ♥ Often people think photographers in the same community would feel like competors over friends, but I’ve found the opposite is true. Both Johanna and I have second shot weddings for each other and I appreciate her for supporting my business and having me take her and Marcello’s photos!

This was before I included film in all my couples sessions, so everything is digital, but I still managed to take some Polaroids and you get a peak at those below. Enjoy the pics!
