Korean & Jewish Wedding at the Louisville Whitehall Mansion & Gardens
Jae and Eric’s day was a lovely celebration that blended their culture, family and stories together. Jae got ready with help from her mother and Eric did the same with his father. We picked a spot for them to both met in the shaded fern garden at Whitehall for their first look.
Their first look started as endearing and adorable, then quickly took a turn when Jae had a little (okay, it was big!) bee climb up her dress. Must’ve mistook her beautiful floral lace for a garden! It would. not. come out. Afraid that it would sting her, Jae slipped out of her dress right then and there. Trent (my husband, bee whisperer & 2nd photographer!) set the bee free. We got some laughs and looks of horror as we re-told the story throughout the day and Jae handled it like an absolute champ.
The rest of the day went on perfectly smoothly, with two ceremonies: one Korean and one Jewish. It was a joy to be able to capture both ceremonies. We love how our jobs allow us to see so many different celebrations! And Eric & Jae were just wonderful to work with.
Shout out to the other Louisville, Kentucky vendors!
