I had the absolute honor to photograph Robyn & Katie’s wedding celebration last weekend! It was the most crisp, lovely early fall day. Katie and Robyn actually already had their wedding in California earlier this year, but they said it couldn’t be official until their family back in Kentucky got to celebrate too, specifically all the grandparents - which you will see lots of photos of below. :)

The couple started off by getting ready together and doing their own makeup - which was not in the original plans, but they went with the flow & it turned out beautifully. We took photos around Robyn’s childhood home … I think it’ll make the pictures extra sentimental for them to look back on.

After some portraits together, we headed to Hockensmith Barn at the Parklands of Floyds Fork here in Kentucky to take some portraits with their family. They had everyone mingle for cocktail hour and the decorations were to die for! I loved the little whispy flowers and the pumpkins scattered about.

To honor their Jewish heritage, they included both a Havdalah Wine Ceremony and danced the Hora which was incredible to be able to capture as a photographer and witness as a person! After the Hora, everybody got on the dance floor to boogey down to the most fun line dancing and square dancing. It was the most fun time and I’ve never seen a group so excited and yet committed to learn something new!
