Autumn Backyard Micro-Wedding in the Highlands, Louisville Kentucky
Last weekend Ali & Tyler got married and celebrated with their friends and family . . . boy, was it beautiful!
Tyler and Ali didn’t want to stress about their wedding, but you can tell that they put a lot of thought and intention into it. They really wanted to celebrate with all their loves ones, as it’s probably the only time they’d all be in the same room. Well, in this case, Ali and Tyler’s backyard! (Yes, their backyard is absolutely beautiful as you’ll see below.)
They started off getting ready together. Again, they wanted to feel laid back, so we didn’t set up a “first look”, I just captured their natural reaction when they happened to see each other while getting ready. They had a tiny, perfect ceremony with just immediate family. After happy tears and hugs, we took off to Cherokee Park for about twenty minutes of the two of them in the fall foliage. Cherokee Park is sentimental to them since they live so close-by and even before they moved nearby, they spent a lot of time there.
After couple portraits and family portraits, guests started to arrive for the backyard reception. The backyard was first filled with twinkle lights, gorgeous flowers and Bluegrass music. Then it was soon filled with all their loved ones and everyone’s enthusiastic chatter. enjoy all of the photos!
