Cozy Autumn Wedding in the Pigment Gallery at Mellwood Art Center in Louisville

Oh, this one has a special place in my heart! Dani and Shelby have been such dear clients to me over the years. They’re the kind of client that has had me capture multiple big life events and it just gets sweeter and more emotional every time I get to document another big moment for them!

Their wedding day was, you guessed it, rescheduled due to covid. When they finally were able to tie the knot here in Louisville, Kentucky in October of 2021, it was such a special day!

The autumn day started off rainy, so after getting ready photos at their Airbnb, we headed to a studio to get some photos of them indoors. The studio was all warm and cozy, the perfect spot for their adorable first look and some portraits of them as well.

After studio photos, we headed to Mellwood Art Center, their venue for some more portraits because they wanted to prioritize time and photos together which I thought was special. They both walked down the aisle together to their ceremony in the Pigment Gallery, which was officiated by Shelby’s Uncle John. (He was the honorary DJ, too!) Then they had alll of their favorite foods and danced the evening away together. It was a day where family and friends came together to help out, from live music to the flowers and I think that made it extra special.
