A Louisville backyard wedding

I get super excited for backyard weddings. How cool is it to have photos at your parents home or where you grew up? Or where you bought your first home together? Though having a wedding at a gorgeous venue is great, a backyard wedding makes the photos all the more special & meaningful.

Megan & Timothy got married in Megan’s parents backyard. It was such a pretty day. Their neighbors and friends came together with signs and a car parade to still show them some love, even though their original wedding plans had to shift.

Afterwards we went to the park to take some posed portraits where Timothy proposed to Megan! I loved that they tied that into their portraits (we took photos right under the tree where he proposed a few months earlier).

I am so thankful I got to be their photographer and so thankful for this job. Hope you love the pics as much as I do!
