Louisville Wedding at the Jeffersonian

Sarah and YY’s wedding day was one of the best. We were lucky to be able to hangout with them the whole weekend, since we photographed their Nigerian Wedding as well. Click on the link to check out that blog! Both weddings were truly beautiful, there was a lot of laughter and it was pretty hot outside. I love an outdoor wedding, but we were secretly glad their ceremony & reception was indoors at the Jeffersonian. (:

From the beginning to the end, their day held celebration and joy, even some tears after the ceremony. Honestly I think that part of the day was my favorite. Though I love one-on-one time with the couple taking their portraits and though the lighting post-ceremony wasn’t ideal, the way their families held each other and welcomed each other as one big family was beautiful.
