Sunday Brunch Wedding in Louisville, Kentucky
What a wonderful day! And the couple, Shelby and Alex, certainly deserved it. This wedding plan/venue was their plan C. After switching their plans three times, I can’t imagine a more perfect day and I think Plan C was the best plan all along.
They ended up having the cutest brunch wedding just outside of Louisville, Kentucky, surrounded by around 30 guests — their family and closest friends. The venue was at an airbnb and had a lovely backyard wedding feel to it. Brunch weddings are my new favorite! Besides having to wake up early to get your hair and makeup done (who sleeps much the night before your wedding, anyway? I know I woke up at 5am and couldn’t fall back to sleep), I can’t think of a reason not to. Mornings feel fresh and new. You can have a coffee bar. Mimosas. Breakfast food. All your photos get to be in natural light — instead of toasts & dancing being in the dark.
Shelby and Alex have the most delightful energy and I truly hope that shines through the photos. We were so thankful to be their wedding photographers!
Another reason the day went so wonderfully — Alex and Shelby hired a great team of vendors. I can’t say enough good things about each of them!
