Asheville Couple's Session at Max Patch, North Carolina

I grew up exploring the Blue Ridge Mountain area a lot with my grandparents and siblings. I used to always bring my camera along to photograph nature, so you bet I was excited when I finally got the chance to photograph a couple’s session among these gorgeous mountains. Tiffany and Thomas are friends of ours and are now pregnant with their first! We did this session to celebrate their two year wedding anniversary back in May. Whether you’ve been dating for six years or married for one, an anniversary session is always a great way to celebrate! There’s a solid, growing & tender love that is so wonderful to have captured.

We hiked up to the top of Max Patch a little before sunset, watched the sunset and then made our way back down. Let me tell you, blue hour on top of these mountains is just as gorgeous as sunset! If you haven’t been to North Carolina or Max Patch or anywhere in the Blue Ridge Mountains, I highly recommend it — especially for a couple’s shoot in the mountains!
