Intimate Chicago Winter Wedding at The Herrington Inn
Patrick and Hayley got married on a snowy day in January. Their venue, the Herrington Inn, made the perfect winter scene. Before covid, they had large wedding planned, but they downsized their guest list to around 20 people to keep everyone safe.
These two deserve every bit of happiness and I’m so grateful we got to work together. Congrats, Hayley & Patrick!
In no particular order, some favorite things from their day ~
The fact that it snowed the night before and didn’t melt away for their wedding day *heart eyes*
Both Hayley and Pat had the most fun wedding party members … lots of laughter occurred.
How cozy all the fireplaces felt inside the Inn
Hayley’s bridal accessories!
Hayley’s veil, oh my gosh it was perfect.
The fact that Hayley’s dad married them.
The “Just Married” sign that they’re holding in some photos was Hayley’s grandparents sign at their wedding
How beautiful the candle lighting was at their family-style dinner.
I used off camera flash, this was my first time using it for a wedding. I like using natural light most of the time because I think flash takes away from the moodiness of a candlelit reception, so I used the flash to give little pops of light vs being overwhelming.
The video their families made for them & the couple’s priceless reactions
How Patrick and his mom’s dance made everybody cry
Hayley & her dad’s song that they sang together, so sweet
+ twelve million other things, but that’s all for now!
