A candid large family photo session in Southern Indiana

This session was the most fun. The kids of the Lasher family wanted to surprise their parents with family photos on their homestead. So they all got together for some photos. Coming from a big family myself, I know how hard this is to coordinate but oh-so-worth it when we’re all together!

The Lasher family wanted to get a few group photos together as keepsakes, but for the most part keep everything very candid and natural. If you know me, you know that’s what I live for. We took different group combinations around the parent’s property and had a blast. Of course, we couldn’t leave out all the dogs and the horses — they’re family too, right?

The day was a bit dreary and rainy, but considering the fact that this was the only time the entire family would be together, we made it happen. I think the dreary clouds just made the beautiful fall colors pop even more!
