A Small Wedding in Red River Gorge, Kentucky
This was the sweetest day and well worth the wait and all the changes the couple had to make. I think I’ve started the last few blogs that way (thanks, covid), but it’s true. Bailey and Collin had to switch plans 2-3 times before their final wedding plan happened: an intimate wedding surrounded by their closest friends and family in Red River Gorge. Their wedding was in late October and I’ve never seen trees so vibrant and pretty. We woke up to rain the day of their wedding and while there was light rain during the getting ready process and photos, we made the best of it. The rain just made it all the more magical! It cleared up just in time for the ceremony when guests arrived. Once everyone was inside the wedding venue, they were cozy & warm.
Some of my favorite things about their wedding:
The flowers. With their original wedding being in May, they had a spring color palette for flowers. I still think it turned out lovely especially with the bright colors!
The fall foliage! I can’t.
Bailey’s simple but beautiful jewelry.
The flower girl who did little hops down the aisle every time she tossed flowers.
How everyone was okay with getting a little rained on.
The Airbnb which was in the perfect location
The food was reallyyy good. The original caterer had to cancel last minute due to their staff having covid, but the couple’s families came together and made some amazing food!
The fact that Bailey wore her hair down — which makes for free-er movement and more fun photos!
And a big thank you to the vendors!
