Louisville Wedding at Kentucky Center for African American Heritage
We were so glad to be apart of Hunter and Raquelle’s day. For their wedding, we got to shoot at two wedding venues we haven’t shot at before! The first was Highland Baptist Church, where their ceremony was held. Living for the blue doors and windows on this church. And then the 2nd was Kentucky Center for African American Heritage, which is a museum that I didn’t even know existed until we booked Raquelle and Hunter’s wedding. We had the privilege of getting a tour of it early (we like to do “venue visits” for venues we haven’t shot at before!).
Raquelle teaches dance and her students were there as flower girls which was the cutest thing. (You can tell I thought they were cute because I couldn’t stop taking photos of them haha!) They really got the dance floor going.
We’re so grateful to Hunter and Raquelle for choosing us to capture their day. They are some of the sweetest people to exist and have been so kind to work with through the whole process, before and after the wedding. They’re the best!
Trent videoed their wedding while I photographed it, so I’ll be adding the video when he’s done editing it. For now, enjoy the photos!
